Kicker Bees slide into 2nd place!

The KBs put another notch in the victory bedpost Thursday night with a comeback win against the Rydex Bulls, proving once again that size and strength are no guarantee, especially when you face off against the fiesty Kicker Bees.

The Bulls pulled ahead in the first inning scoring 3 runs. But the Bees soon answered back scoring three runs of their own. The battle went head to head but in the fourth inning the Bulls weren't able to stand the buzz and the Bees scored 4 runs that would go unanswered, and ending in a 7-3 Kicker Bees victory.

The KB's continue to run a well honeyed hive on the field with spectacular catches from Susie-"Glue" Colon, "Handy" Andy Weaver, and Ravi "We are Champions" Patankar. "Jolly" Roger Barkman continues to rack up the outs at first while Jordan "WuTang" Publico was a homeplate force to be reckoned with!

Next week the KB's play another doubleheader when they take the Hepcat Bruiser's to the pound and once again put the stinger in the Bulls.

Kicker Bees put the stinger in the Countrywide Crushers!

Even the Crushers' resident law enforcement couldn't stop the KB's as they stung their way to a 8-3 victory in last night's game.

The Kicker Bee's scored 8 runs in the first inning and followed with a triple in the second inning from one, "Jolly" Roger Barkman. When asked for a comment on the play JRB replied "Arrhhhh Matey stick that mike in my face and I'll make yee walk the plank." (okay not really but it sounds good)

The Crushers answered with 3 runs but in the end had to jam an eppie pen in the arm as the Bees take another win back to the hive.

The KB's continue to tweek their fielding lineup, giving Wu Tang an opportunity to show us his best Mike Piazza impersonation, while veteran catcher Amanda "Bzzz" McMahon helped lead and direct the team from the infield. Kaitlin Dow had an "OMG" moment with a very dramatic catch resulting a blackshirt out. Ryan Lavender and Ken Sandler put the magic fingers on the ball from the pitching mound.

All and all the KB's had a good game and enjoyed playing such a fun team as the Countrywide Crushers.

Next week the Bees play Matador with the Rydex Bulls.

GAMES CANCELLED

The Rydex Bulls must have done a rain dance. These weeks game's were cancelled due to heavy rains and possible thunderstorms.

Kicker Bees trip the Midnight Runners!

The KB's swarmed with spirit on Thursday, there were wings, stings and other things galore on Field B. Which will now carry the nomenclature of Field BEE as the Kicker Bees gave the Midnight Runners a big muscle cramp in a 5-2 victory.

Ryan pitched a hell of a game, and Dragandy (Andy S) once again wowed us with his speed and mad kickball skills!
McKenna made a great play at first and the KB's have decided we *heart* the Countrywide Crushers' ref, as she has a keen eye! Our beloved catcher Amanda instilled fear into the Kickers with her bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Which has made news around the league. Teams are starting to fear coming up to kick with Amanda behind the plate ready to put the bzzzzzzzz on them.

In the end the Bees came together with some awesome fielding and kickass kickin' to win their second game. There victory was followed by Queen Corn Muffin with Honey, Tanya, rolling around on the grass in a state of utter glee, that the KB's have won their SECOND game.

The Bees now stand at 2-2. Next week the KB's put the sting on the Rydex Bulls!

SUPERTOE puts the RAID on the KB's

The Kicker Bees swarmed but SUPERTOE was ready and waiting with some insecticide.

The KB's faced off against Tony Ayton and his SUPERTOE crew only to fall short in a 9-3 loss to this formidable foe. As a reminder team SUPERTOE faced off against the MVPs for last seasons championship! The Kicker Bees are ready to put this loss behind them and call it a learning experience.

The Bees are looking a ead to this week's matchup only to say "Nanny Nanny Boo Boo we are sooooo gonna Sting you" to those Midnight Runners led by the one, and only Fran Fran He's our Man Meredith.
