Kicker Bees = Car Bombers

Those redballers with the most mojo in moco are gonna put the sting on the Bethesda Fire division this fall! Okay well summer/fall.

The Kicker Bees will give the stingers a rest and take the field as the one and only Car Bombers!

Better watch out Bethesda, you aren't gonna know what hit ya KABOOM!

Kicker Bees if you are interested in playing in the Summer/Fall division in the Bethesda Fire Division let Roger know as a few bees maybe joining forces with the Shockers to give Bethesda a lil Shock & Awe. Bzzzzz....

SUPERTOE smooshes MVPs

Congratulations to the WAKA MD Gaithersburg Division Champions: SUPERTOE

After the 8 inning battle against the KBs team SUPERTOE went on to face defending Division champs, the MVPs. A tired and sweaty SUPERTOE gave it their all and went on to defeat the MVPs in a 5-4 victory.

SUPERTOE racked up the wins (and a massive run differential) this season going 10-0-1, the tie coming against the Rubber Busters during the regular season.

So you know what this means, not only did the Kicker Bees play in the final four, but their lose was at the hands of the Championship team. Now ain't that the shiznit!

SUPERTOE BLUE LIKE VIAGRA

And surely the big toes needed something to keep their stamina up last Thursday.

SUPERTOE thought defeating the Kicker Bees would be a simple task; 5 innings and they move on to the Championship game. The KB's had other ideas. In what is semiofficially the longest kickball game ever played in the MD Gaithersburg division, the Bees held the mighty SUPERTOE to ONE RUN for 8 very long innings!

The Kicker Bees were on FIRE! Thanks to some really great runs, particularly a great slide by Ken Sandler, the KBs racked up 2 points. But it was the Kicker Bee fielding that was the true shock and awe. In an awesome throw from home to second base, catcher Jordan "Wu Tang" Publico pegged a very stunned SUPERTOE player. To follow that awesome play, veteran first baseman Roger Barkman had an awesome zinger at the home plate win he slammed the big redball onto a sliding SUPERTOE for an out at the plate. This type of play would continue thru the innings.

SUPERTOE always smart on the bases only needed one mistake and unfortunately the Bees gave it to them in the 8th inning. With runners on second and third SUPERTOE kept their eyes peeled for and opening, they got it when in a moment of desperation the KBs threw the ball to second in an attempt to get the second base runner out. Groans could be heard all around MoCo as the third base SUPERTOE runner advanced onto home plate to score the winning run.

Final Score after 8 innings---SUPERTOE: 3 KICKER BEES: 2
End result after a great season---The team the League thought would finish second to last, held the mighty undefeated SUPERTOE to one run thru eight innings.

Now Aretha how about some R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
